This sketchbook features upcycled vintage book covers protecting 64 pages of 100% cotton Arches Cold Pressed paper, which is renowned by professional artists throughout the world. The exposed spine elegantly displays the hand bound Coptic stitching, which allows the book to lay flat when open.
The inside covers have been adorned with decorative endpapers with gold accents. The back cover does have a small pocket for tucking away swatches and other inspiration. This pocket initially comes with 3 strips of Arches paper, so you can test your paint colors on scrap paper before applying them to the pages of the sketchbook.

As such, there may be stains present, worn corners, etc. We think this adds to the charm and character of their vintage nature, but please make sure to inspect the photos carefully before placing an order. This particular book has obvious discoloration at the bottom of both the front and back covers, we I like to think it adds a special character as it adds a bit of a watery effect to a book originally about water.
